CDR

A call detail record (CDR) is a data record generated by a phone exchange or other communication device that records the specifics of a phone call or other communication transaction that travels through that facility or gadget. The record includes information on the call's time, duration, completion status, source number, and destination number, among other things.

Insights into an individual's relationships with associates, communication and patterns of behaviour, and even location data that can pinpoint an individual's whereabouts throughout the entire call are all revealed in call detail records, which are an invaluable resource for law enforcement in their efforts to identify suspects.
